I have been doing drawing exercises by creating artist trading cards. The theme I worked on in Nov/Dec 2008 was "Black Birds."
This fellow is Ron. He is from a series of stories that I make up for my 3 year old son before bed. He is one of many characters from the stories. Early on I discovered that I had trouble remembering the names of all the animals in the stories, which are made up on the spur of the moment, often with my son filling in key details on the spot. So I started using the names of the Weasley kids from the Harry Potter books so I would remember who everyone was. The characters in my stories share only the names from the HP characters. Characters in the "Fred and George Stories" so far: Fred: A bunny George: A frog Ron: A crow Ginny: A crow Arthur: A spider Molly: A duck Ink and Crayon |
